We are trying a new way to fundraise for our current non-profit! 3 Hopeful Hearts is our current non-profit.  Because 2020 was such a crazy year, it was decided to keep 3 Hopeful Hearts as BWNFC's non-profit for 2021.

There will be a donate button on the BWNFC registration page.

When you donate at least $10, you will be put into a drawing for a $25 local NoCo Gift Card (keeping it local) at the meeting on Jan 5th.

This month we will be working on Goal Setting and Networking. There will be no speaker this month, but, lots of networking with breakout rooms.

Womens Development Council
October 21 2020
Dear WDC members,
First off, I hope this email finds you and your families happy and healthy and doing well!
Just as 2020 has given all of us many challenges and opportunities in our businesses, families, and livelihood, it has also led to some changes within the Women’s Development Council. As I am sure you all know, each group within WDC have found unique ways to adjust networking and to each group we thank you for doing that for each of your members. As we all know connections are not only important to our businesses but to us as women.
Regarding the Women’s Development Council itself there are a few changes coming in this forever year of change.
As of October 31, 2020 Irish Martin- Danhoff (WDC President), Susan Jewell- Klema (Vice-Pres and Past President, and current President of WBWN) and Brandi Markley (WDC Treasure), will all be stepping down from their roles on the executive board. This decision did not come easily but with the ever-changing world and the need for new innovative ideas for the WDC moving forward, these changes are going to be made. Effective November 1, 2020 the WDC will have a new president and vice president and will be actively looking for additional required executive board members.
We want to make sure that we take this opportunity to thank the current executive board members for their time and effort for the MANY years of volunteered services they have put into making the WDC amazing!
The attached proposal is how we will be moving forward effective November 1st.
Aleesa Whiteis-Bass ( Current President of BWNFC) will step in as President and Becky Shook-Wotzka (BWNFC) will step in as Vice President. Again, as stated before the positions of treasurer and secretary are open.
Thank you to the members of the BWNFC (Ft. Collins) and the excitement they have towards keeping the Women’s Development Council going strong.
A few other group specific changes have occured over the last few months as well. LBWN (Loveland Business Women’s Network) had their last meeting this month in October and GBWN (Greeley Business Women’s Network) also had their final meeting the last week of September. At this time, these groups will no longer be holding monthly meetings and all board members have stepped down. If there is anyone who is interested in restarting these groups and being board members for these groups please reach out to the new executive board and they will discuss the options with you. The opportunity is all yours!
We continue to look forward to the amazing visions for the WDC and all the continued groups that will move forward under this new leadership.
Again, thank you so much for allowing us to serve all our wonderful women in Northern Colorado and we look forward to seeing you all soon for networking.
Please remember that WBWN (Windsor), NCBWN (Northern Colorado), NMBWN (North Metro) and BWNFC (Ft. Collins) are continuing to meet monthly, all under different Covid precautions and guidelines and would love to have you attend. Please contact each group directly with any questions.
Once again, thank you to each and every one for being a part of the Women’s Development Council.
We wish you all the best of luck in your businesses.
Yours Truly,
Irish Martin-Danhoff - IrishMartinDanhoff@gmail,com
