LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT 

2012!! Can you believe it's here? We all know we "should" set goals, we "should" make a plan to better ourselves, we "should" take a realistic look at where we are and where we want to be.......but sometimes we should all over ourselves and since we can't do it all - we do nothing. I challenge you to take baby steps for a "better" you. Drink one more glass of water, take the stairs when you can, take one whole day off a week, smoke 2 less cigarettes a day. Whatever your desire is don't let the "hugeness" of it intimidate you. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Small changes can add up to a big difference. So take the time to be the person you've been dreaming of being - take that cooking class, try the zumba workout, read something for "fun". One of two things will happen at the end of this year - you will be relish the time and energy you spent on yourself and truly love the person you are becoming or you will have regret that you didn't do more of the things you "meant" to do. YOU ARE AWESOME - sometimes we forget that in all the noise of just trying to survive our daily routines. Don't ever let anyone tell you differently - especially don't tell it to yourself. Happy New Year - I treasure the time I get to spend with you and I look forward to seeing what wonderful things you awesome women will do this year.
